What changed in the game
Naraka: Bladepoint servers were taken down for maintenance from October 21 at 23:00 UTC until October 22 at 04:00 UTC. The update focuses on Stormchant, adding a new Rift Traversal chapter and several activities that appear at different stages of a match.
The patch also introduces new match mechanics. The Rewind Device can reset eligible nearby loot containers after a countdown when the required Relic value is offered. Stormchant also gets the Treasure Coffin, an interactive loot container that requires a special key and provides high-value Relics. The Xiling Seal Art Society crossover adds collectibles and container-search progress as well.
The announcement says nothing about an anti-cheat update, detection activity, a ban wave, or account restrictions. There is no basis for presenting this patch as confirmed anti-cheat action.
What it means for cheat software
This is still a substantial game update: it brings new objects, containers, events, and match logic to Stormchant. Compatibility should not be assumed after a patch until the developer of a specific product confirms support. The public notes do not disclose client-side technical changes, so they cannot confirm whether any software dependencies were affected.
In practical terms, a game launch is not a compatibility test. If there is no explicit status for the live game version, wait for one. A product worked before maintenance does not mean it is ready afterward.
Check the current status on the relevant product page before opening the game: Shack for Naraka, Naraka Extreme, or Naraka Changer. Having access to a product or an activation key does not automatically mean it has been updated for a new build.
Run it today or wait?
Wait if the product has no published status for the updated game version. That is the sensible choice after this maintenance window, since the game content changed and the supplied announcement does not establish software compatibility.
A confirmed status is not a promise that an account cannot be banned. No cheat is safe. Detection risk can involve the client version, later detection changes, player reports, in-game behavior, and other checks. See why cheats get detected for the factors that can lead to a detection or a ban wave.
Before any launch, use the safe launch checklist. It does not remove risk; it helps avoid avoidable mistakes such as running an unconfirmed build or ignoring product update notices.
What to monitor next
Watch two separate sources: the status of your specific product and official Naraka announcements. This patch confirms Stormchant gameplay additions, but not anti-cheat activity. If the game’s developers later publish an anti-cheat or enforcement notice, the situation should be reassessed using that statement rather than assumptions.
If an account is already restricted, do not rely on random reinstalls as a fix. First identify the type of restriction and review the steps in what to do after a ban.
